AFP Annual
Conference
The
annual AFP Central PA Chapter conference is held
in the fall of each year and offers a variety of
educational workshops, vendor exhibits,
networking opportunities, and more.
This year’s conference will be held Friday,
October 15, at the Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey.
The following sponsorship opportunities are
currently available.
Grand
Conference Sponsor
($1,500) includes: exhibit
booth with preferred location; inclusion in the
conference brochure mailing; prominent listing
in the conference program; introduction by
chapter leadership at the conference opening;
two minutes to address the conference
participants at the opening of the conference;
signage by the registration table (provided by
you); placement of literature at the opening of
the conference; acknowledgment on our chapter
Web site; and complimentary lunch for two at the
conference.
President’s Lunch Sponsor
($1,000) includes: exhibit
booth with preferred location; listing in
conference program; introduction by chapter
leadership during lunch; signage by the lunch
entrance (provided by you); acknowledgment on
our chapter Web site; complimentary lunch for
two at the conference; and two minutes to
address the luncheon attendees.
Breakfast Sponsor
($750) includes: an exhibit
booth; listing in the conference program;
acknowledgment by chapter leadership at the
opening of the conference; signage by the
breakfast table (provided by you);
acknowledgment on our chapter Web site; and
complimentary lunch for two at the conference.
Marketplace Vendor
($200 before August 1; $250
after August 1) includes: one 8 ft. x 24 in.
table; listing in conference program;

National
Philanthropy Day®
National Philanthropy Day® is a special day
nationally celebrated in November to recognize
the contributions of philanthropy – and those
people active in philanthropy – to the
enrichment of our community and our world. The
Central PA Chapter of AFP organizes the region’s
premier National Philanthropy Day® event, which
last year attracted more than 200 attendees to
an awards banquet. Six award recipients were
honored in the following categories: Youth of
the Year, Foundation of the Year, Corporation of
the Year, Fundraising Professional of the Year,
Volunteer Fundraiser of the Year, and
Philanthropist of the Year.
This year’s award banquet will be held Monday,
November 15, at the Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey.
The following sponsorship opportunities are
currently available and include: acknowledgment
on all printed pieces (event invitation, and
four-color program) and in all press releases;
recognition during the event remarks;
acknowledgment on both the AFP Central PA
Chapter Web site and the AFP International Web
site; and complimentary banquet tickets.
Overall Event Sponsor
($2,500*) also includes: a full-page ad in the
printed program; a display table at the banquet;
a sign/banner displayed in the banquet area; and
the opportunity to make remarks from the podium
during the event.
Reception Sponsor
($1,000*) also includes: a full-page ad in the
printed program; a display table at the banquet;
a sign/banner displayed in the banquet area; and
the opportunity to make remarks during the
reception prior to the banquet.
Award Sponsor
(6 available at $500* each) also includes: a
one-quarter page ad in the printed program; and
the opportunity to escort the award winner to
the podium to accept the award.

Media
Sponsor
– The media sponsor (magazine or television
station) will provide a red carpet experience
for guests with an event photographer at
entrance. The media sponsor is expected to
promote the event before and after and provide
all photos (electronically) for AFP use. In
return AFP will provide a full-page ad in the
program, a sign or banner in the banquet area
and acknowledgement on all printed pieces.

for which contribution levels would be
negotiated based on the
number of years
committed, i.e., two-year commitment as Overall
