SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES


The Association of Fundraising Professional's mission is to foster the development and growth of fundraising professionals committed to philanthropy, and to promote public understanding of philanthropy.  Our chapter attracts chief development officers, executive directors and other professionals from many nonprofit organizations throughout central Pennsylvania.  AFP is recognized as a nonprofit organization under Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3), and all contributions may be deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Eight membership meetings are held during the year.  Each meeting includes a guest speaker within the fundraising field.  Meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month from 11:45am-1:30pm at a central location.  Each meeting attracts between 60 - 70 guests.

$300 sponsorship entitles you to:

* Opportunity to place literature and/mementos at the registration table and luncheon tables
* Acknowledgement by the Chapter President during the meeting
* Two minute opportunity to speak to the group

In addition to monthly meeting sponsorships, opportunities are available for the chapter's Annual Conference in October and National Philanthropy Day in November. 

ANNUAL CONFERENCE SPONSORSHIPS

 SOLD Grand Conference Sponsor ($2,000) includes: exhibit booth with preferred location; inclusion in the conference brochure mailing; prominent listing in the conference program; introduction by chapter leadership at the conference opening; two minutes to address the conference participants at the opening of the conference; signage by the registration table (provided by you); placement of literature at the opening of the conference; acknowledgment on our chapter web site and complimentary lunch for two at the conference.             

President’s Lunch Sponsor ($1,250) includes: exhibit booth with preferred location; listing in conference program; introduction by chapter leadership during lunch; signage by the lunch entrance (provided by you); acknowledgment on our chapter web site; complimentary lunch for two at the conference and two minutes to address the luncheon attendees.

 
$750 Breakfast Sponsor  Nonprofit Resource Network

SOLD  Breakfast Sponsor ($750) includes: an exhibit booth; listing in the conference program; acknowledgment by chapter leadership at the opening of the conference; signage by the breakfast table (provided by you); acknowledgment on our chapter web site and complimentary lunch for two at the conference.

Marketplace Vendor ($200 before August 1; $250 after August 1)
includes: one 8 ft. x 24 in. table; listing in conference program; acknowledgment on our chapter Web site and complimentary lunch for one at the conference.
 


2008 National Philanthropy Day®
Sponsorship Opportunities

National Philanthropy Day® is a special day celebrated nationally, usually in November, to recognize the contributions of philanthropy - and those people active in philanthropy - to the enrichment of our community and our world.  The Central PA Chapter of AFP organizes the region’s premier National Philanthropy Day® event, which last year attracted more than 200 attendees to an awards banquet.  Six award recipients were honored in the following categories:  Youth of the Year, Foundation of the Year, Corporation of the Year, Fundraising Professional of the Year, Volunteer Fundraiser of the Year, and Philanthropist of the Year.

 This year’s awards banquet will be held on Monday, November 17 at the Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey Hotel. 

The following sponsorship opportunities are currently available and include: acknowledgement on all printed pieces (advance event postcard, event invitation and four color program) and in all press releases, recognition during the event remarks, acknowledgement on both the AFP Central PA Chapter and the AFP International websites and complimentary banquet tickets.



Overall Event Sponsor - $2,500* also includes:  a full-page ad in the printed program, a display table at the banquet,  a sign/banner displayed in the banquet area and the opportunity to make remarks from the podium during the event.
 


Reception Sponsor - $1,000* also includes a full-page ad in the printed program, a display table a the banquet, a sign/banner displayed in the banquet area and the opportunity to make remarks during the reception prior to the banquet.
 


Award Sponsors (6 available) - $500 each*
also includes: a one-quarter page ad in the printed program and the opportunity to escort the award winner to the podium to accept the award.
