The Association of Fundraising
Professionals, Central PA Chapter, is
pleased to provide scholarships for
educational and professional development.
Scholarships are available for Central PA
Chapter members to offset the cost
associated with the local and/or
international conference(s).
Eligibility requirements are below.

Fall Conference, Central PA Chapter –
Friday, October 3, 2008 (Sheraton Harrisburg
Hershey Hotel)
The Central
PA Chapter will award five (5) scholarships
of $100 each for the 2008 fall conference.
Eligibility Requirements:
-
The
applicant must be a member of the
Central PA Chapter.
-
The
applicant must be employed as a
fundraising professional and/or have a
position that requires at least half of
their time to be spent on fundraising
activities.
-
The
applicant has never attended the Central
PA Chapter’s fall conference.
-
The
applicant agrees to share a few comments
about their experience at a chapter
meeting.

Millersville/AFP Leadership Training
The Central
PA Chapter will award ten (10) scholarships
for nonmembers of $75 each. This is
the cost of one module for a nonmember.
We are awarding fourteen (14) scholarships
for AFP members at $55 each. This
being the cost of one module for AFP
members.
As an added bonus, we are also awarding two
(2) $75 scholarships for AFP members only.

46th International Conference on
Fundraising –
Sunday-Wednesday, March
29-April 1, 2009 (New Orleans, Louisiana)
The AFP
Foundation for Philanthropy (International)
sponsors the Chamberlain Scholarship. In
addition to the $500 Chamberlain Scholarship
grant awarded to the recipient, the Central
PA Chapter will also award one (1)
scholarship of $250 to the same recipient to
help defray travel expenses.
Eligibility Requirements:
-
The applicant must be a member of the
Central PA Chapter.
-
The applicant must be employed as a
fundraising professional and/or have a
position that requires at least half of
their time to be spent on fundraising
activities.
-
The applicant has never attended an
International Conference on Fundraising.
-
The applicant agrees to share a few
comments about their experience at a
chapter meeting and complete an
evaluation form for AFP International.
