2008 National Philanthropy Day®
 

National Philanthropy Day® is a special day celebrated nationally, usually in  November, to recognize the contributions of philanthropy - and those people active in philanthropy - to the enrichment of our community and our world.  The Central PA Chapter of AFP organizes the region’s premier National Philanthropy Day® event, which attracted more than 160 attendees to an awards banquet.  Six award recipients are honored in the following categories: 

Youth of the Year,  Foundation of the Year,   Corporation of the Year, Fundraising Professional of the Year,  Volunteer Fundraiser of the Year,  and   Philanthropist of the Year.
